I’m a lash tech… there are three hairstyles clients wear for the appointment that we absolutely hate

A PROFESSIONAL lash tech has revealed the hairstyles to not wear to your appointment.

When getting your lashes done by an expert, most beauty lovers don’t really think twice about what their hair looks like or what style they’re wearing it in.

But according to one whizz, there are three hairstyles to avoid at all costs.

Taking it to TikTok, Deja Elexus (@damndej), from Detroit, the US, shared a list of hairstyles that she claimed fellow lash techs hate for clients to wear during the beauty session.

In a clip, which has since gone viral, racking up a whopping 5.1 million views, the expert said the first big no-no is having your long locks falling all over the back of the chair.

However, if you were to assume that instead arriving with a top-knot or a high bun – messy or not – would make your lash tech jump in joy, you’re wrong.

According to Deja, whose videos have amassed her more than 21,000 fans on TikTok and an overall of 1.2 million likes, this is another hairstyle to steer clear from.

The third hairstyle that’s made it on her banned list are low buns and ponytails.

Revealing the no-no hairstyles to wear during your lash appointment, the whizz captioned the clip: ”We have a problem [crying emoji].”

Instead of going for any fancy or basic up-dos, Deja recommended: ”Just laying flat on your hair is perfect and comfortable.”

”Drop y’all head off at the door y’all know the procedure,” she also joked after being met with criticism from viewers who weren’t sure what hairstyle to go for.

”should i just put it in my pocket then or [sic],” one person was confused.

”so what options are left? shave my head before an appointment?” someone else added.

A fourth user commented: ”At that point I’m just not going to come bc sis I’m paying you to do my lashes not critique my hair [sic].”

However, it wasn’t all negative, as a few jumped in to support the lash tech.
