BBC House of Games fans distracted by contestant hairstyle
BBC House of Games fans have been left distracted by a contestant’s appearance this week. Viewers were distracted by celeb contestant Maisie Adams’ appearance.
Fans have taken to Twitter this week as Maisie stars alongside the likes of James Cracknell and Michelle Gayle, as well as Rory Bremner. Fans had questions about her hairstyle.
The retro cut left some baffled. “Always love House of Games, but sometimes contestants annoy me. Why does Maisie insist on not finishing her hair cut?” one asked.

Maisie has a cool skinhead-style retro look. But a second asked: “Don’t know who Maisie is, but what is going on with that hair?” on Twitter.
Maisie first appeared as a contestant on The Chase while she was a University student in April 2016. There, she was eliminated by Paul Sinha in her head-to-head round with him.
She has appeared on episodes of 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mock the Week, QI, Have I Got News for You, Would I Lie To You?, Richard Osman’s House of Games, Roast Battle, and The Last Leg.
In 2021, she narrated the Big Brother-style reality show, The Cabins, on ITV2. She was a writer on two episodes of Rob Beckett’s Socials on Channel 4.
